Aaack! I am FINALLY giving up on www.elance.com
I have had it with their contractor prices!! Today, I bid on a project and was offered the same rate that I pay my catsitter. Enuf already with the $9 per article pay rate -- and this from a guy who spells article "artical"! Guess the 3,467 writing clips I sent him didn't convince him that I was sufficiently "seasoned."

I've heard stories like this, but am amazed every time. How many words did they want you to write before they shelled out the big bucks? :-)

They ultimately asked asked for 10 articles (400-600 words) for $100 to "see if it works out." As any SEO article writer knows, that means doing research, re-writing to get the appropriate word placement, then ordinary editing.
